The Role: Enterprise Architect - Enterprise Architecture Lead
Key Skills: Togaf, Zachman, BPM, SOA, Application Architecture,
Location: London, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, 50% travel 50% home based
Industry: Consulting - candidates with professional / financial services experience highly preferred.
Salary: £70k - £85k base + up to 30% ultilization bonus
The Company
You will be working for one of the growing player in transformational change in business operations. They focus on key processes and technology, or to solve specific but complex business or IT issues. They have have a understanding of business operations, processes to create opportunities for their clients.
The Role
The organisation is focused on Enterprise Architecture to FTSE 250 companies, normally where organisations do not have a mature Enterprise Architecture.
There are three main Enterprise Architecture assignment styles you would undertake.
1) An organisation decides that they need enterprise architecture and the company will help them implement a pragmatic architecture approach.
2) Enterprise Architecture is not working and you will need to improve what is already there.
3) A strategic review of the Enterprise Architecture.
You will be working along side the Director of Consulting to help implement Enterprise Architecture, this is very much a lead role with a great opportunity to grow with the company.
Your Responsibilities
Implementing architecture delivery model
Internal and external executive stakeholder management
Development of a centre of excellence in Enterprise Architecture
Creation and reuse of architecture assets
Enable Business and IT Change via agile architectural design

Your Experience
You will need to have a few battle scars gained during an Enterprise Architecture programme with a professional services industry.
Strategic plans, blueprint and roadmaps
Due to the nature of the companies you would be workign with it requires someone from a development background who can talk to the business but also application development teams.
Previous experience of strategic roadmaps, Enterprise Architecture definition and Enterprise Architecture methodologies (Togaf and Zachman)
Understanding of application architecture (J2EE, .Net), data architecture, business architecture (BPM) and technology architecture
Broad knowledge of architecture models (Distributed Computing, EAI, SOA)
